My niece called yesterday in a panic. She received an email Friday saying the deadline for transfer apps was March 3. She'd planned to hit the 'send' button Friday night as she had understood the deadline was the first of March; however, because of the email, she understood the application deadline had been changed to March 3, she decided to take Sunday to review her essay, application, etc and send it in last night. When she logged on, the system wouldn't let her check the appropriate box "sophomore transfer" which would have then taken her to the payment page and the send button. The only boxes available to check did not apply to her situation. My suggestion was to try again later and call Admissions for help early Monday AM. Anybody else know of a similar situation?? Or can anybody offer some help???

N just texted me that there had indeed been a problem with the UNC system; the problem has been corrected and her application is sailing its way through cyberspace as we speak!
