how does UNC calculate high school GPA

my schools calculates GPA really ****-ily. does UNC count honors courses and studios/electives (yearbook).

    I don't think they do it any differently than your highschool which is not good for me either.

    they dont give credit for ap or hn untill at a later stage of calc.
    and i dont think ap and hn gpa bump is as high as u get in HS..

    Are you sure? That wasn't what I was told. They may look at your grades differently but I am pretty sure they don't recalculate your GPA.

    i dont know for a fact. I am relying my reply on my AP Psych teacher...a grad from UNC...who still is active in his contributions to UNC.

    My sister attends UNC and no, they do not recalculate your GPA. They consider your numeric grades on your transcript more than anything because different schools calculate GPAs so differently.
