Instead of always asking the negative, I thought we should approach this topic from the positive....what do you like, love about UNC? what persuaded you to come? Make sure you put your status as far as student/parent, your year, and IS/OSS.
I am a parent. My son transferred to UNC (fall of 07) after two years at a smaller, private U. He is IS. What attracted him was the large number of majors/minors, a more diverse student population (in particular, socio-economic), a student-friendly college town, a bike/public transportation friendly town, research opportunities and a non-pretentious, friendly, laid-back student body.
- That there is ALWAYS something going on on campus from concerts to community events (kenan's screen on the green, south campus' beach blast, etc.) to stuff going on in the pit.
- Clef Hangers. Enough said.
- The quad on a beautiful day...
