| UNC to Med School Hi
This question might not be well received, but I'll ask it anyway.
For those at UNC in the pre-med track, which med schools do pre meds go to? |

| Wow that's really amazing, mkm56. Thanks a lot.
Unfortunately, that doesn't have UNC on it, so my question still stands. But, it had all the other unis im considering on it, so it was really helpful. |

| Bali,
Getting into UNC's Medical school is quite difficult and very hard to get into.
They rather have students from out of state or another school besides their own students. |

| I've heard that.
But my question was more towards which med schools do they go to in general, not just UNC |

| wait are you saying that UNC med school wants out of state students as opposed to in state? because that is definitely the opposite of what the admission officer says. last year 141 of the 160 students came from instate. |

| Bali, use the mdapplicants site and click on search profile. There is a place to enter undergraduate school and other things. You should be able to search that way to see where they end up. |

| like North carolina residents made up 141 of the 160 spots last year. i talked to one of the admissions officers and im not sure what the acceptance percentage was for instate (5-10%?) but for out of state students the acceptance rate was .5%. personally im looking to establish instate residency before i apply |
