| Being a 15-year resident of central NC but hometown is Baltimore - the public transportation in NC is not nearly as efficient or 'truly usable' as in Maryland. Although some 'cross town' and 'cross campus' (Duke, Carolina, NCState) shuttles exist and Chapel Hill has a nice transit system 'in town', traveling from town to town or to the airport or bus stations is not nearly as efficient as mid-atlantic area <especially if you live along the I-95 corridor or VA/DC/MD>. Guess you're too young to rent a car or won't have adults with you? UNC Admissions office may also have some good suggestions. |
