Chances for a (crazy) Sophomore

So I've heard a lot of conflicting things about UNC admissions, and I'm wondering if I've screwed myself. I know I've annoyed you guys a lot, but I'm still really worried.

-I'm from NC
-My school does not offer APs
-My sophomore year is terrible because of signing up for courses that were, online, too hard, incomplete, and because of some personal/family issues that include my diagnosis as mentally ill.
-I've included summer classes as part of my schedule, because that's how they appear on my transcript
-My family's EFC is 0
-I'm directly related to Hinton James
-I plan to double major in Philosophy and Public Policy, and do the PPE minor

You definitely sound like a well qualified applicant. You are certainly taking very advanced courses, which is a huge plus. Your GPA and SAT are also above average for UNC.

Your GPA and SAT are above average. They are actually on the low side of average. If you get your SAT to your goal I think and show improvement in your grades I think you'll get in. But 1870 is a long way from 2050. Do you realistically think you can get there?

I took the SAT in November made a 1680, retook it two months later--got to an 1870 with no prep (190 more points). Do I think I can make a 180 point jump in 2 years? Yes.
