That's terrible. I know what it's like to face rejection. Just apply to UNC as a transfer, next year. Congrats to those who got in!

I'm sorry, waitlisters. But I promise you all in a year you may even forget you applied to UNC. That's what happened to me with some other schools. Do not let this make you feel like any less of yourself.

This is how I look at it. It's like a guy says, hey, I want to take you out on a date, but I already told this girl I'd take her out first, can I get back to you? And then he gets hit by a bus. It's just a probability thing, not anything against you!
