UNC Chapel Hill High School Honors day

My D received an invitation to attend this event sponsored by UNC Chapel Hill's Diversity and Muticultural affairs office. Has anyone attended this event that can give us some feedback? Is it basically a general information session or is it more in-depth. Given that I have to buy plane tickets and stay overnight, I want to make sure it is worth the trip.

She has applied to this school OOS. I understand the OOS acceptance rate is low but we have hope nonetheless.

Thank you.

If she's already applied then the program won't do her much good. I was interested in going as well but it seems more like a general informational session that's targeted at minorities.

This is what I thought also. I don't want to get plane tickets for info session as she is already interested in the school.
