Verizon On-Campus?

Do any current students have Verizon? If so, how well does it work on- campus compared to Cingular?

I get much better reception from Verizon on campus than I ever get in my apartment in Carrboro or many other places in the Triangle area!

verizon is pretty decent once you get north of kenan stadium, but once you get into the south campus dorms, it pretty much is nil. also, it fluctuates in the pit, which can be frustrating. excellent in polk place, mccorkle place, and franklin street, though.
