Signing-Up for Classes

IntelQIntelQ Posts: 55Registered User Junior Member
I logged into my portal and I am now able to sign up for classes; I haven't had CTOPs yet but I know what classes first-year students in my major are required to take. What happens if I sign up?

where does it look like you can sign up for them?

I if try to enroll it says I do not have a valid enrollment appointment at this time

Have you been enrolled in any classes automatically by the honors program?

I thought we were supposed to wait until after we had been to CTOPS to sign up?

We're supposed to sign up for classes while we're at CTOPs, not after.

You can add classes to your "shopping cart" but you can't submit them until you have been authorized during CTOPS.

Adding all the classes you want to your "shopping cart" is nice because you only have to hit one button to enroll in everything at once. Just fyi!

Put ALL of your classes you are interested in your "planner" that way when the classes you want are full you can get to the alternates easily, otherwise you have to use the very slow search engine.

Does anyone know what it means when looking through class sections under "Instructor" it says "Staff" instead of a specific professor's name?

It means they haven't decided which grad student or junior professor to assign it to yet.
