with only few days left until admission results, would it do any good to send a letter reassuring interest in the college?

I can't wait to hear back from them. Why does this take so long?

It's actually a running gag in the Admissions dept. They've had their minds made up since mid January.
For $100, I will sneak into their lair and see if you are getting in or not.
Not to make "too" light of the situation...I was in your shoes last year. I actually drove home on the Friday before I got my letter (Saturday)...and saw a small envelope from ND in my mail slot. I was floored. Turns out it was a request for further financial aid information.
Biggest sigh of relief of my life. Moral of the story? If you get a small envelope, you might have still gotten in. So open it.
My prayers are with all of you.

crixx, I have a feeling that the envelopes are being stuffed as you read this, so sending in a letter now probably wouldn't do much for you

In 2005 the letters seem to come 4/4 based on the thread here and last year they seemed to come April 1st. Our EA decision came the day before the letter said if you don't hear by ... call. Good luck everyone I feel your anxiety. I am praying for you

Perhaps those who live in Indiana or the vicinity can post when they have received their response, so that those further away will know the letter is on its way.

Good luck everyone! As I always say at this time of year, try to keep everything in perspective. These letters will not ruin your life, and it is all about what you make of them. I received a rejection letter from Notre Dame and as it turns out I will be graduating with honors this spring. Good luck, but try to keep it all in perspective!
