You will appreciate it just as much; it is not hard to appreciate this place once you get here. Notre Dame truly is everything I hoped it would be and more and I feel that being here is making me a better person, which that alone is worth its weight in gold. The classes are top notch and the sports teams are getting there (well, football at least). Where else can you have the best of both worlds? It truly is Catholic Disneyland in my opinion. Okay, enough of my rant, good luck! Let me know when you hear (should be coming up here pretty soon)!!!

I would say, get your ACT to 31 or SAT to 1400+, then go for EA. Otherwise, stick with RD. Definitely try to break into the 10%, too.
