Bad AP scores won't rescind my admission?

Hi,

With senioritis looming over me and taking insurmountable 7 AP exams at once, I think I did really bad on every one of them. Probably some 4s but mostly 3s or maybe lower.
My plan is to cancel one of them and probably withhold a few, but I won't get my admission rescinded for this and bad scores right? or have u seen anyone get reprimended by ND for this?

arrgh I keep making stupid decisions! I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks.

on the admitted student website, the gipper (an admissions officer in disguise) was asked this question. I'll copy and paste his answer:

Ask the Gipper

Say I get a bad grade on an AP exam. Will the university renege on my admission?

Yes. We also will if you breathe too heavily when you arrive on campus, or activate your e-mail from a Mac. I'm kidding. You'll be fine, we don't care if you get straight ones, that really just means that you won't be able to exempt any classes with that credit once you're here. -Gipper

I know a lot of seniors last year who just drew cartoons in EVERY FRQ sections and guess randomly on MC and received the score 1 in EVERY AP exams. But they didn't get their acceptance letters retracted, even from prestigious universities, such as Harvard, princeton, columbia, cornell.

They may not have had their letters retracted but it absolutely demonstrates a huge lack of respect for their parents and the fact that they paid $84.00 per test for their child to take the AP exams. Why did they bother even taking the exams?? Definitely shows a lack of maturity on the student's part and I don't find it one bit amusing. Many of these students took more than one AP exam so they wasted over hundreds of dollars because they had a case of senioritis - Give me a break!

some states pay for their students to take AP exams, and most ivy league universities don't accept any AP credit--I'm assuming this was the case. Otherwise, it would make no sense to waste money like that.

WOW you paid for your AP exams (or your childs exams)? I knew you had to pay if you did not take the class, just studied the subject and then took the test, but to take the class and PAY? Thats uncalled for! Thank god my state paid for it.

My school required you to sit for any APs that you had taken the class in, and you had to pay for them.

I drew a big nature scene with trees and flowers and rivers and bunny rabbits for one of my FRQs on my AP Bio exam.
