| One thing--were there honors/AP options in 9th and 10th grade? If you were taking the highest classes, that's good, if there were higher options, that could hurt you a bit. I don't know how good a GPA that is. At my school (which is a pretty competitive private school) where regular classes aren't weighted, and AP and honors are weighted by 1.094, generally a 98+ is needed for ND (and that's with at least a 32 ACT). But if in the context of your top ranked school, a 94 is high, then you're good. SAT is pretty good. If you could improve, that would be good, but 1460 is solid (or you could try ACT, I did better on that). Everything looks pretty good, in my opinion, assuming that your class load was rigorous enough and your GPA is high enough--you know better than me about that.
But that's all just my opinion (I'm applying next year too, so I'm no expert)
Good luck! |
