| ND Signature Events
So I was just curious, but when I visited the campus they talked about the Fisher Regatta and other dorm events. Since that sounds like so much fun I wondering what some of the other activities held are??

Let's see...
Dillon Pep Rally
Fisher Regatta/Zoo
Phox Phire (Pangborn)
Mara Fox Run (Lyons)
Tomato Fight (Morrissey)
Carroll Christmas
Keough Chariot Race
Welsh Fam Block Party
Keenan Revue
Day of Man (Seigfried)
Queen Week (PW)
Knott on the Knoll
ALUMNI HALL'S WAKE WEEK
There are others, but those are all of them that I can remember off the top of my head. Most of the titles are self-explanatory, and the ones that aren't are basically outings on the quad with inflatables and general fun and merriment for all. Most have dances attached to them. Also, while other dorms' events are fun, they usually focus most of their attention on their own residents. For example - I have attended most of the aforementioned events, and many of my friends have attended Wake Week festivities, but Wake Week is specifically designed to be fun for Alumni Hall residents, with fun for "outsiders" a secondary objective.

Also add:
Walsh Football 101/Mr. ND Pageant
Sorin Talent Show
Siegfried on the Slope (if they beat out Knott)
Badin Breakdown
McGlinn Casino Night
Stanford Benefit Bash
We're still missing a couple...

We're missing Howard's, St. Ed's, BP's, Farley's, Cavanaugh's, and PE's
I think St. Ed's is the Yacht Dance, which is cool for them, but kind of... you know... nonexistent for the rest of campus.
And the Howard Holiday, which is kinda like Carroll Christmas, I guess. They also run a pretty serious blood drive, too, which is good.

Well thanks guys!! Very helpful
All the guys dorms' events sound like more fun than the girls though lol
And now that I think about it, everything I read about the guys dorms in general seem more fun!! Very unfair

I think Sted's Yacht Dance is their SYR, not a signature event. Guys dorms are usually more fun, but sometimes its nice to be able to retreat back to the relative quiet. Also, guys dorms have more money for their events, etc because they make more money from fines thank girls dorms do.

Trust me, the Fisher Regatta is all you need to know. It doesn't surprise me that that is the only one you had heard of. You gotta regatta!
BTW, I lived in Fisher, no bias here.

It's a tomato fight, no matter that you call it.

Lewis Crush!
Oh, and I think BP has their Meal Auction and Farley has Pop Farley week?
I don't know if it qualifies as a "signature event" but I'm going to have to throw in Zahm's Bun Run too haha.

Fisher Regatta is so rigged...they practically have a battleship.
It is a cool event though.
