| Beautiful ND!
Just back from visiting ND yesterday...and I can tell you all that spring has sprung on campus! The trees are starting to bloom and flower, the perennials are up and great. The kids are out in their shorts (of course!) and out on the quads.
The "shirt" was unveiled yesterday and blue/gold is today.
We were lucky to attend ND Opera's production of "Beatrice and Benedick" and it was fantastic. There is surely a lot of talent on the campus!
I know this is a ramble, but in light of some of the negativity below, I wanted to assure all that all is well on the campus of Notre Dame!

Spring is alive at Northwestern, Cornell, and Yale too.
Not so much as a hint of Roman Catholicism to be found in your post.

AlDomerDad, why? Was that at all necessary? No. We put up with your rambling attacks in other threads because, like it or not, they actually do have a place. This is not their place. Don't undermine your own arguments by being purposely incendiary.

I'll ignore your comment ALDomerDad--you must be a truly unhappy person.

My S just got back from his visit and he was really impressed with ND. Before the trip it looked like he was going Berkeley (his favorite). After the trip, it now looks like a tossup, and is meeting with his counselor on Mon to help him sort this out. Beside the personal touch of ND, the beauty of the campus was a big plus for him
we will see

Good Luck to your son, Kumitedad. Fall is even more beautiful at ND's campus.

I wouldn't have responded if it were not for the fact that she/he referenced all the "negative" posts below. I am VERY negative about Notre Dame right now. I couldn't possibly be more disillusioned with Notre Dame and her administration.
It's spring where I am too. I am greatly enjoying it. Sorry to rain on the happy post.

^^If you're so negative and disillusioned, perhaps you'd enoy yourself more if you stayed on other forums....
