Will ND go to their waitlist?

Has anyone heard if they will activate their waitlist and when?

My guess is yes, but it's too early to tell. The deadline to postmark a reply to an admit/waitlist decision was yesterday.

they have not said anything, but i would be completely shocked if they did not.

in about 2-3 they may announce their yield numbers, but notifications if you have been accepted will be notified late May/early June.

I hope they use the waitlist this year! It will be interesting to see how the economy influences ND's yield..... ring: based on old cc posts it looks like waitlisters started geting calls in early/mid may

i don't know what I was doing when i typed late May/early June. Now that deposits were due, they will know by a week what their class looks like and will be alerting everyone a lot sooner than late May/early June.

Ring,
If you do a search of my previous posts, you will see that I wrote quite a bit about our experience with the waitlist. What I said in the past still applies. No doubt that due to the state of the economy, ND will go deep into the list.

Please be in contact with admissions and show your passion and desire to attend. Call numerous times but don't be pesty! I was told by an admissions rep at ND, that in regards to the waitlist, "they want to hear your voice!" So, show your interest.

that info will probably come out at the end of this week and most likely next week. It will be clear once they release their yield numbers which are still being finalized as May 1st was the deadline.
