I'm in Alumni. I know it is right in the middle of campus but doesn't have any air conditioning. Does Alumni and older dorms have more 2,3, and 4 person suites. THis is what i heard and i have a room number with a 'b' after it and my roommate has an 'a' so I wasn't sure if this means we have a 2 person suite.

hawkswim09, if you only have one roommate, then you have a double - one room, two people. The "a" or "b" indicates bedspace, which for all practical purposes is meaningless. It's basically a way for ResLife's computer system to keep track of how many people are living together.

I lived in Morissey a few summers back. There is a lot of tradition at Morissey and the community there is pretty tight knit. Unfortunately, many of the rooms in Morissey are no bigger than a walk in closet. It can also get pretty hot during the summers in the rooms. As far as location goes it is on the western side of campus. It is a short distance away from the south dining hall and is right next to the architecture building. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a walk to Debartolo and many other lecture rooms.

Hmm so just wondering, do you share a mailbox with your roommates or is it individual? Haha

I lived in Fisher back in the day. Overall, I loved it there. You don't have the air conditioning but there is a lot of spirit and tradition. If Ellie is still kicking give her a pet for me, but please wear gloves, God knows that dog never got bathed!

Dillon's pretty established and big, I went to the chapel there for mass when I visited in March.

The floor plans are posted for every dorm except Ryan. Does anyone know when those plans will be up?

My guess is that Residence Life has simply forgotten to upload the floor plans on their website. If you look at the Ryan Hall profile you will find a lot of dated information from the 2008 fall semester that should probably be removed from the site. Maybe Res Life is just a little slow in updating these sorts of things.
