Double Major in Mendoza?

I think I read somewhere that students cannot double major within Mendoza but can choose another major outside of Mendoza. Is that true?
I was going to double up on Accounting and Finance. If that doesn't work out, I think I will choose Economics instead. How does that look? Also, will that mean that I will have to fulfill both colleges' requirements?

unfortunately, you cannot double major within mendoza because the enrollment is so high in the b-school that they don't have enough spots in all the business courses to allow students to have 2 majors in mendoza... however, econ and finance or econ and accounting is quite possible...

i will be a sophomore in the business school majoring in either finance or accounting and will also be majoring in theology

I never understood the appeal of something like econ/finance or acounting/econ...possible, yes. Valuable, not really.

Becasue, it doesn't make you look more qualified. Thats the common "nose to the grindstone" theory- if i take 3 majors, and 150 credit hours, and study abroad twice, and am president of 8 clubs, and a varsity captain, it will make me look like a great job applicant. The problem is that this doesn't really show too much to an employer. It doesn't show that you can be creative, innovative, a problem-solver, etc.

ok. first, you cannot double major in mendoza, nor are there any minors in mendoza...
second, it's possible to double major in a business major and some other major, but i do not recommend accounting/finance&econ. it's true that you will take less course and have more time to party than most other double majors, but from my opinion, accounting and finance are just to close to economics...

agree with clock 26, that's not appealing to employers...
i know some people are doing or planning on doing what solamelx is thinking....but i think a person with two majors that are too close to each other might not be more competent than someone with a single major. why don't you just focus on one major...or try to explore if you are interested in anything else..
i was actually thinking about majoring in finance and econ when i got in last year, but i switched my plan to econ/poliscience because i find politics interesting.

its basically if you're not sure which field you want. you cant get an accounting job with a finance degree.
