ND Chances?

Like many people, I would consider ND to be my dream/ “reach” school. I love the way it seems to blend academics, faith, and student life so well. I'm planning on applying RD, and would probably double-major in Psychology and Theology. I'm really nervous about my prospects, though...so, any chances or advice would be appreciated.

All-girls Catholic high school

SAT I: 1410/2210 (670M, 740CR, 800W) (probably retaking in Oct. to bump up Math a little)

GPA: 4.168 W, around a 3.7 unweighted, I think. Mostly A/A-s. 2 B+s, 2 Bs, and 1 B- in Honors Physics

Courseload (through senior yr): All honors; AP US History (5 on the exam)/Chem/Latin/English/Gov

School doesn’t rank

Around 10 extracurriculars/service programs with several leadership positions (no sports)

I put a lot of time into my CommonApp essay & have gotten very positive feedback so far. Hopefully, I’ll be able to write a good supplemental essay as well.

kmac, I'd have to disagree with your confidence. Your stats are definitely good, but by no means a shoe-in. I would particularly try to get your SAT up a bit, if at all possible.

Agree. This is not a "lock." You are very qualified. It will all come down to the recommendations and how well you can articulate your passion in your essays. Good luck!
