I get what everyone is saying--and call me a Notre Dame zealot--but the only legitimate schools mentioned there are Rice and Georgetown. None of the other schools even come close to Notre Dame's prestige, average test scores, placement, etc.... Boston College is a great school but it still remains below Notre Dame. Portland? Villanova? I would say that Notre Dame is certainly on par with Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Vandy, and WashU (and, with the ridiculous alumni network...it probably beats out Ivies like Brown and Cornell).
just my opinion...go irish!!
