Notre Dame for graduate school chances?

I am currently an undergrad at Kent State. I am working towards a BA of history, a BA of geography with an environmental concentration, and a BS of geology. My overall GPA is 3.7 (I know not great, German killed me, working at pulling it back up).

I am in the honors society for both geography and geology. I am going to starting soon as a research assistant working on ice physics and glaciation.

I am hoping to attend Notre Dame for graduate school. It is my first choice and I am wondering what my chances are. I would like to do one of the programs in geological engineering. Does anyone know what kind of candidate they are looking for or if I would be at all competitive?

What kind of science and math is required? I am only taking what my degrees require right now, but I could add extra in the summers to make up the difference if it would help.

Anything anyone can offer on this topic is appreciated.

Graduate school admissions are very department-specific. You need to be talking to your current professors first, as they will be the ones writing the letters of recommendation that would be part of your application. They are in the best position to help you determine the strengths of various graduate programs, and your chances of admission. They can also assist you in course selection that would best meet the grad school requirements. You should also contact the particular department and Notre Dame to discuss its requirements and your admissions prospects.
