I totally disagree. Any company that is trying to hire you will know that the work econ majors do is completely different from that of business majors. The name of the degree itself is irrelevant.
My advice: Do what you're interested in and don't worry about it.
I'm transferring to the College of Arts and Sciences as a sophomore next year. Can I still apply for the Dual Degree with Wharton? Do I have a decent chance of getting in? What courses do I need to take next year?
