I got my official letter woo hoo. My mom was seriously thinking that I didnt get in and they made a mistake online. I was thinking the same too....LOL

in comparison to the other admittance packages i got from U Chicago and Stanford is super lame. i mean, i'm not complaining or anything.. it's just the vibe upenn gives off is VERY different from the other schools... u chicago's is all super nice and formal-very harry potter-like, and stanfords is fun and excting and comes with WORD MAGNETS! but how silly would that be to choose a school based on that?? "why'd you choose stanford?" "oh, i liked the magnets they sent me" :P haha. but upenn is simple and straightfoward, much like myself. no need to dress things up, they are good as is. it's just at stanford, the students seem much more excited about their school than upenn students.. i mean, where's the site where we can talk to current undergraduates or anything? or chat with our future classmates (besides here)? just a thought....

ummm there is a site where you can talk to your future classmates and current students. It's called student talk. If you read your decision server info, it has a link for the homepage for your class (depending on which school you got in). From there, you can go to the forum.

Penn's group (over 1,200 members right now) has over twice the discussion topics as Stanford's group [we're a very, very enthusiastic bunch over there]

We also have separate groups for each of the 4 schools as well as a variety of regional or athletic interest groups. From what I've seen, the '11 group will be amazing and everyone's totally excited about Penn

you should go check it out. (sry about the lack of magnets though)
