Quick Question!

I'm taking the French SAT II this May to test out of the foreign language requirement. I should designate "University of Pennsylvania Undergraduate Admissions" as the recipient and my score will get to the right place, right?

Also, does anyone know if the Penn placement exams are easier or harder than the SAT IIs?

I already asked this question. I found on their website that they only accept language SATIIs if they are part of your application,so you may want to double check that. Call them and see the procedure for taking SATIIs for credit.

well you can always take Penn's palcement test for Spanish online. So take the SATII, see how you do then take Penn's and see what happens.

DSharC, do you take Spanish this year at Penn or did you test out before? If you are taking Spanish, how is it? Is there a lot of work?

I'm planning on taking the SAT II Subject Test in June, but I don't think I'll get over the required 650 for the credit.

DSharC - yeah, I'm definitely taking the SAT II. I'd just like to know if Penn's placement test can spare me in case I bomb it. =)

Ahh I can't take the test on June 2 because that's the day after my Prom. So I only have a month to re-learn French...

But yeah I'll call tomorrow and post here for everyone else.

Haha, congratulations!

I really want to place out of the requirement now so I can double major and double minor. Or perhaps be able to study abroad.

Ok I just called and confirmed that you can take the SAT II in May or June and list the undergraduate admissions office as a recipient so your score will be added to your file. Good luck, everyone. =)
