is it possible to get financial aid or scholarship from UPenn

hi people, i just wonna find out if its possible to get financial aid from UPENN for low income families. in 08 my income was around 7 grand and my mom's was below 30 grand. if at least i can get half of the tuition from financial aid i could pay the rest from my savings. if anyone knows about UPenn's financial aid, please give ur opinion. thanks!

They don't offer merit based scholarships, but they are very generous with need based aid through grants. With the level of income you put down above you should almost certainly be able to get at least half of all expenses covered if not more. My guess is almost all of your expenses will be paid for if you're accepted. . .money isn't an issue from penn and they flat out say they will never reject a student based off of financial issues as they have several billion in endowments. Good luck

^ this applies only to US, Canadian and Mexican students..for internationals, Penn is need-based, not need-blind, thus making it difficult for internationals to get in with substantial aid..good luck
