-Collaborated with Ph.D researcher on a Neural Stem Cell project its really indepth and wonderful.
Performed independent research on genetics and genetic variation.
-Also performed research which focused on the genomic analysis of the brine shrimp Artemia franciscana, and how the genes in this organism compare to other species.
- Selected into many selective science programs.
- 1st place at states in many science competitions. Even went to national competitions.

i think you have a good shot, very tough school though. Be prepared for a rejection just incase. Would love to see your essay, or a part of it. The one that the AP literature teacher loved.
