Penn IR Degree v. Business degree from G-town or B.C.

I was wondering if a Penn IR degree would trump a business degree from georgetown(mcdonough) or boston college(carroll)? I didnt realize I wanted to do business until I got to Penn and don't have a high enough GPA to make the cut-off to transfer into Wharton...but I really want to study business and take mostly business classes...any suggestions? thoughts?

wait, if you knew you wanted to transfer ahead of time. shouldn't you have taken easy classes. ie. ap classes youve already taken in high school. that just seems logical to me. Or you did that but still didnt get 3.6.

but penn owns gtown cept sfs. bc is a joke

Coming from a job recruiter in the financial field, would you hire the guy who went to penn and studied IR or the guy who went to gtown or bc business school, but was able to gain a solid background in finance, etc.?

Well would it be the same for a person who would want to go into international business? I mean a job like that requires skill in both international relations/knowledge of cultures, ext and business.

so i do not see why international relations with say...a minor or some classes in business/finance undergrad then an mba in grad wouldnt be almost just as good.

Im not saying that.

Im simply responding to the issue of majoring in international relations or business undergrad.

Both schools are in my top 5 and Id be happy to get accepted into either.
