Question on applying ED to Upenn in fall

Hi everyone (:
I'm new to CC, but I was wondering if you could answer a question for me.

I am a Canadian student (Ottawa represent!) who is going to Harvard Summer School this summer. I really want to apply early to Upenn but would the admissions office be turned off by the fact that I'm going to Harvard during the summer instead of Upenn's summer programs? Would they care / have people who went to SSP been accepted to UPenn ED?

It shouldn't make any difference at all. By applying ED, you'd clearly be demonstrating your commitment to Penn.

True, I see what you mean. Didn't think of that.

At first I didn't realize there were credit programs at UPenn (I thought their summer programs were non-credit, and my parents weren't confortable spending so much $ if I got no credits) but I realized that too late. I really really like UPenn.
