Can any current students tell me how much out of class work there is for chem lab 053? Will it require a lot of time out of class?

I was exempt from Chem lab but I heard from my friends that it basically involves weekly lab reports , some of which are fairly simple and some of which can be extremely long and tedious. I think the workload is fairly typical for that of a science lab. Also, even though Chem lab occupies a 3hr time block, it doesn't take 3 hrs most of the time. For example, my friends were generally done after 2 hrs so it's not as time consuming as it seems
