Coed Bathrooms

I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who will be attending CAS next year as an upcoming freshman, but currently does not have web access. She is uncomfortable with the idea of having to share bathrooms with members of the opposite sex, which according to her is rather common in the Quads. I've tried to do some research but I can't find a whole lot about coed bathrooms in UPenn. Can anyone explain how the coed bathrooms work? How much privacy is there? How common are single sex bathrooms?

Thanks

I would like to know too, since I will be living on the Quad next year and from the looks of the floormap, the bathroom seems to be co-ed.

There are usually 2 bathrooms per hall, and the hall decides whether they are coed or separated by gender. Most halls vote to make them separate, so I wouldn't worry about it.
