I am an upcoming senior and I plan on applying to upenn Wharton in the fall (early decision). I have a 3.4 u.w. gpa and i am in the 2nd decile of my graduating class (top 20%). Sat scores: total=2110, c.r.=660, math=710, writing=740. Sat2 scores: physics 690, chem 690. I play a varsity sport for the school and I plan on writing my college essay about being gay on a varsity team. What are my chances of getting into wharton early decision?

Yeah, you need to up your gpa, rank, SAT I CR+M, and SAT IIs. I don't really know whether it's too late for all this, but you can try. What other ECs do you have? One sport isn't enough. Wharton ED is super tough, but I wish you the best of luck.

i did a 1 week internship, i have a leadership position in a business club at school, i was a head camp counselor for 2 years, i have around 80 hours of volunteer work, im a member of 2 honor societies, etc. Do u think my chances would be much higher if i applied for engineering?
