Another Chance Me Post...

Hi!
So, I've decided to apply ED to UPenn!
Chance me?

GPA: 4.80 (w), 4.0 (uw)
SAT: 2050 (R: 680 W:680 M:690) --> I plan to take it one more time Oct. 6
SAT Subject: US Hist. 760 Bio: 660 Math II: 620 (I know the last two are bad...)
Academics:
all Honors Freshman year except Geometry (sem course)
All Honors Sophomore Year
Junior: AP Chem 1, AP Language and Comp. (5), AP US History (5), All Honors
Senior: AP Chem 2, AP Physics 1, AP Lit and Comp, AP US Gov, AP Studio Art 4

Extras:
Volunteer work at Hospital(Fresh, +50hrs before Fresh Year)
NHS
NAHS
Study Abroad (Italy, over the summer, speak Italian)
Orchestra (violin)
Colorguard (4 yrs, captian Senior year)
Water polo (Fresh and Soph Year)
Mudders (Clay) Club (10)
Chem Club (11,12)
Philosophy Club (11,12)
Kickboxing
Fencing Club (9)
Italian Club (10,11,12)
Gender Equality Club (11, possibly 12)
Babysitting (I know this isn't a legit extra curricular, but I spend A LOT of my time babysitting)

I might be forgetting a few extracurriculars, but that is what I can think of for now. Also my uncle went to UPenn, so I don't know if alummni helps or not...

Your GPA is good for Penn, but your SAT I and SAT II scores are low. If you can raise those, it would increase your chances.

Your ECs are okay, but not stellar. I don't think they'll be a make it or break it factor for you.

Legacy at Penn is limited to parents and grandparents, so your uncle does not technically count. However, I recently learned that people with any sort of alumni relation might get a slight boost anyway, just not a legacy boost.

Overall, your chances with your current scores are not looking great. However, I think you might stand a decent chance if you can increase them significantly. Good luck!
