Early Decision Question

1. If I apply Early Decision to UPenn (I really want to go there), can I also apply to a few fallback state universities like Texas A&M, non binding non early decision? Keeping in mind that I will withdraw my app from the state university if I get into UPenn...

2. Based on just these narrowed EC's (I have more but I just want to know with these), should I apply to Wharton for Business Administration or School of Engineering for Chemical Engineering? I like both majors.

-FBLA Nationals Qualifier
-Virtual Stock Market Trader (Poor family, cannot trade actually )
-Internship at Morgan Stanley over Junior - Senior year summer. I attended business meetings, training meetings and shadowed stock brokers, investment bankers and the branch manager.
-Internship at Echostar over Sophomore - Junior year summer. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics with exposure towards programming and engineering.
- I like to create things. I created a wooden batman clock by myself (Im using this for my essay), two rockets (the bodies were pre-made but I designed and created the nose cone myself).
-Leadership positions: I am the swim team co-captain and also the Youth President and Secretary of Tamil Association of Colorado. I preach the importance of my language to Indian kids who were born here and have forgotten our culture.
-34 math act and I have taken Calc 3/ Diff Eqs as a Junior and am taking Abstract Math (Logic and Set theory) and Linear Algebra as a senior.

Should I apply to Wharton or College of Engineering? Which do I have a better chance of getting into the university based on my ECs ?

1. Yes, you can apply to other non ED schools.

2. Apply to the school you want to attend more, not which one you think your ECs are better for.
