Another M&T chances thread....

Hey. The thread title explains it all....

SAT: 2380 (M: 800, CR: 800, W: 780)
GPA: 3.80 u/w

Ethnicity: Indian
Gender: Male

AP exams taken (all 5s): Biology, Physics B, US History, Composition and Language, Calc BC, Physics C: Newtonian Mechanics (self study), Physics C: E&M (self study), Statistics (self study)

Senior course load:
AP French
AP Literature
AP Chemistry
Multivariable Calculus at local university
Other courses (school specific)

Extracurriculars:
Debate club - 4 years, varsity
Math Team - 4 years
FIRST robotics - 4 years
BEST robotics - 2 years, qualified for nationals
Science Bowl - 4 years, captain
Science Olympiad - 2 years, founder

Summer/extra stuff:
Canada/USA Mathcamp - 2 summers
2 research studies in chemistry at local college - decent results, publishing of 1st in process
A research study in computer science at MIT - very significant results, publishing in process
100+ volunteer hours through school Key club (does this event matter?)

Thoughts? I'm also getting a recommendation from an MIT professor I worked closely with, but I'm not sure if that helps.

Excellent chances. Try applying ED if you're not, as I've heard it offers a significant boost for the dual degree programs.
