I know that Penn is need-sensitive to internationals, and competition is tougher for int'l aid. I've read somewhere that around 50 internationals get admitted with finaid - does anyone know if this figure is accurate? Or does it refer to the total number of internationals with finaid, rather than just freshman?

I've tried to find more information on the Penn website but it's hard to find exact numbers, or even rough estimates..

Most of the international students I've met (not from Canada like me, since Canadian admission is need blind) have attended international schools and look like they're from well-off families that can pay the full tuition. I don't know the exact numbers but it seems like they're in the majority.
