The quality of this thread is among the worst I've seen on CC. Don't tell me these people get into Wharton.

Summary: they look for a wholistic package.

Be warned, a lot of people on forums will actually discouraging you from applying in order to reduce competition. Ex. Collegebound_07 was clearly doing that.

sorry but almost everyone that got in with like 1900~2100 have EXTRAORDINARY EC's or hooks. u don't seem to qualify into such category... but 2250 is not bad, nevertheless

Lol! Collegebound was actually being facetious... Making fun of the absurd conversations on these threads. Oh is a score in the 99.2th percentile okay? You think I still have a shot if I cured cancer and only got in the 98.3rd percentile? ****. I'm just not going to bother. Kirkwood Community College is looking awfully attractive.

I know plenty of people who got in <2200, many even <2100....Internationals, Asian, no hooks, the worst-combo possible.

However, one with a 2050 had started two online businesses and one non-profit. The other with a 21xx was really into design and went to a design school and eventually started a design company.

It's mainly about your passion, your ability to contribute to the community - if you can articulate that well in your app, even a 2000 won't put you out of the running.

2250 is probably fine if you are unhooked.

No. Your score does not define you. People are all ove rthe place in terms of scores.

2250 is absolutely fine. i'm at penn now (not wharton, cas), and i know a handful of people in wharton that are pretty far below your 2250 and they got in. like honeybooboo143 said, scores don't define you as a person or as an applicant.

PEOPLE!!! I am going to end this once and for all. I am indian. I got into Wharton. I got a 2260 superscored but a 35 ACT. I had a 720 and 740 on my math in SAT I but got an 800 and 35 on my ACT math. Conclusions: 2240 is not low; if you are not good at sat, show streghts in subject tests and act to make up for it.

My score according to SAT prep books is around +/- 2100. Any recommendations on a way of improving my score to 2200+?
