Premed?

Can a current premed do like..an overview of the program at Penn? I'm considering doing it next year and I want to know what to expect. I'm sure there's been a post about this before, but I had trouble finding one through a search. Generally, what are the classes like? Is it difficult to do a completely unrelated major? How is the advising? Obviously premeds are competitive, but how do they compare to other schools? Is it possible to have a social life? Do you recommend skipping classes with AP credit or retaking them? Ok, sorry that's a lot of questions! But it would be really helpful. Thanks

After the finals people have to (maybe get drunk before) pack and go home. That's also another level of stress. haha.

see this if you haven't done so:

what are classes like? ask about specific classes pls.

I know a religious studies major who was a premed.

I also know used-to-be premeds because they don't want to be doctors anymore.

The fact is, a significant number of penn students are premeds (some giveup in the meanwhile). I don't like that fact, but you should prob find out what you are good at by the end of your senior year.
