so i really want to do a residential program...but none of the programs fit me exactly. i think a lot of them are interesting, but i don't know what to do. do you have to want to be a lawyer to fit in in law & society? or a wharton student for entrepreneurs program? or a pre-med student for health & society? etc, etc. i'm undecided in terms of my major, btw.
It doesn't really matter how much the program fits you as long as you can prove that you belong. For the most part the programs do very little once the year starts, its just a good way to ensure that you get the dorm you want. Look into the Riepe Mentor program maybe.
basketballgirl at the preview day we were told that you can apply to any program you want . you do not have to be a pre-med student to go into the infectious disease program nor a pre-law student to apply to the law & society program. you may pick programs that have nothing to do with your major but something you might be interested in.
spdds thanks i know that you are a penn alunm. the school is beautiful with lots of great programs. I know that most incoming freshman prefer the quads but any dorm you get into offers an of array of wonderful options
