I replied to Penn on Apr. 18 and haven't received anything yet. Should I be worried?

I sent my deposit on April 18 and still haven't received anything. Does it usually take this long, or did Penn admissions all of a sudden change its mind and decide not to accept me?

Haha, I wouldn't worry about that. They only reply immediately if there is a problem. You can call admissions if it will calm your nerves; they will most likely reiterate what I've just stated. Don't forget to send in your online housing application on time, though!

When I sent my thing, it took 2 weeks to get a postcard stating that they have my deposit. Call them if it worries you so much. I wouldn't worry though.

I called them 3 times so far and they continuously told me not to worry and that it takes them 2 weeks to process..

They also said that there's no way for them to check if they received my deposit - lies I say! lol, but yeah. I was worried too, but I think we're fine..

Check your "acceptance" email...check it twice. If the words "just kidding" are typed below the signiature then you probably should not have sent in the few hundred dollars.

Hm, when I called they said they couldn't check :P Maybe it depends on the person you reach?

Just keep an eye on your bank account, and see if they cash the cheque.

Hey, I heard that you get a free t-shirt once you send in your deposit. Is that true? How would they know your size?

there's a correlation between SAT scores and body size :>

i've actually never heard anything about a free t-shirt. maybe they hand it out during NSO?

They finally cashed by deposit yesterday ;p so I'm not as worried anymore even though I still didn't get a confirmation.

My friend from last year said he got the free t-shirt during NSO..
