Am I going to receive, or did someone already get, some sort of letter or email or something confirming the acceptance of the waiting list? I sent the reply in over a week ago
There's a good chance you'll never get any confirmation, and you may never even hear of eventual acceptance or rejection. It's just the way the waitlist world works. Every school is different, but don't assume that they'll communicate well with you. If you are genuinely interested and committed to enrolling at your WL school, keep contacting them.
