scholarships at penn

are there any scholarships that students can apply to that are funded by penn? my family does not qualify for any financial aid, but it is still a huge burden on them. is there any site that could connect me to these services? thanks!

Not really. There aren't any funded by Penn on the whole. There are research fellowships available for certain research, and there are external scholarships for some kinds of majors, but you've probably heard of most of anything there. CURF might have some information on some stuff, but you've probably seen everything that's available already. Keep your ears open as some frats sponsor scholarships, and some places offer internships that are coupled with scholarships.

There's an award that if you maintain something like a 3.7 GPA and submatriculate to get a master's in Chem or Physics, you can qualify for waived tuition junior and senior year. It looked ridiculously hard to get, but there's always that chance.

Penn only awards scholarships and grants through your financial eligibility. Have you tried applying for local scholarships or national ones at fast web??

I have applied for several and have already won one. I am still waiting to hear back from the rest.
