does getting a 5 on the APUSH test fulfill the Sector 2: History and Tradition requirement?

No. Can't use any AP credit to fulfill any distribution requirements. It gets you an extra credit on your transcript. Whoopee.

This isn't about history but I'd rather not start a whole new thread for my question..

what exactly does a waiver do for you? I know a 5 on psych just gives you a waiver, but does that mean any course that has that psych course has a prerequisite you can automatically take?

An example of what a waiver does:

If you get a 5 on the AP Econ tests, you are waived out of Econ 001 and 002. This allows you go directly to Econ 101 (assuming you meet the calculus requirement).
