| Come on. A family function is always more important than the SAT. Some people really need to get priorities straight.
That said, maybe you can compromise. Remember that the SAT II's are usually shorter than the full SAT, and you might be done with your tests before the services.
Also, be sure to take the test _eventually_. As Hypababe said, it's the best way to place out of the language requirement at Penn, and you can take the test any time that it's offered. I even had a friend take the test after his freshman year at Penn. |
