Hi, i just took the SAT chem.. and i got a 700. Can that help me get some college credit? I also got a 4 on the AP exam in chem which probably will get me credit. But will the SAT get me even more credit? Or at least take a more advanced class?
at penn, credit is only given for the 5... not for a 4, and not for any sat 2 score
you can use the credit to take a more advanced course, but it's 091 credit (to fulfill a prerequisite), not 101 (intro level) credit.
thus, if your curriculum explicitly requires a 101 course, you must take the placement exam for that class to get credit for the 101 course, unless you decide to take it as normal.
wth!! this sucks >_> all this work for nothing. I busted my ass off for that AP exam. And all it does is look good on my app? No other use? I bet a 4 doesnt even look good to Penn.
