Towers vs. Nordenberg Hall

We would appreciate some opinions of Tower double vs. Nordenberg Hall double or triple for an incoming freshman. The cost difference is not an issue. Has anyone been in the new dorm yet? Is having the cafeteria and several quick food cafe's in the Tower a big advantage in the winter? Any thoughtful comments appreciated.

As a parent, I thought having a dining hall in the residential building a huge plus. But my daughter lived in Forbes and didn't mind the walk to Towers to eat. Nordy Hall is in very close proximity to Towers, or at least closer than Forbes, my frame of reference, so I still think it is conveniently located.

Towers have always been a very popular place to live, so I'm curious to see how the fact that Nordy Hall is brand new, and centrally located, will play out.we

I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I do think a lot of freshman will put Nordy Hall as their first choice, so maybe place it as number 1, and Towers as second choice, and then whatever happens, happens.

Nordy being a new dorm definitely would make it more appealing than Towers. It is one block away from Towers/Market Central, so in terms of eating in the winter or bad weather/whatnot, it's not an issue.

Personally, I thought the rooms in Towers were pitifully small. I would do what FlyMeToTheMoon suggested and place Nordy first over Towers
