Our daughter loves it. We hate the distance! 8 hours away.... she loves her classes (small), relationship with teachers (personal), the Library (goes every day); the Weinstein Center (fitness, goes daily); new friends, her dorm, the campus, access to DC, games, extracurriculars, etc. Hasn't complained once about a single thing. It's all good!
Our daughter is also enjoying U of Richmond. We are from the midwest and I was not sure if the school would be a good fit for her. She is not interested in sororities or partying and is a very serious student. She has not had any problems making like-minded friends and finds the professors very personable. She is already talking about going abroad junior year.
