lgb scene on campus?

Hey I'm on the fence about u of R and am kind of concerned about the gay scene on campus (as well as the social/party scene but that's being discussed in another thread) Would you say it's a homo-friendly environment/ is there much gay life on campus?

It's always been my impression that the majority of people here are very accepting/"homo-friendly". I can't comment on the GLBT life on campus, though. :P

I never thought the "social scene" was lacking, either.

not really an issue. Most of the student population is very supportive. The drag show is one the popular event during the school year. also there is lgbt safezone training available for Reslife employees (RAs, fellows etc) and all other students, so that people are trained to not only create open and supportive environments but also recognize and prevent those who are being discriminatory and hostile.
