McKissick Scholars Award & Woodrow Scholars Award

How are you eligible for these scholorships? I live in Virginia and the only way I can go to USC is with one of these scholorships because of the tuition cut. I haven't applied yet. When do you have to apply to be eligible for these scholorships?

My D (who is now a sophmore) applied early action in October of her senior year in high school. She was accepted at the end of October and found out in February I believe that she was receiving a scholarship. They are a big help for out of state students. Good luck.

there is no separate application for those scholarships, eligibility is determined from your admissions app. I would imagine the "early bird" would benefit most, as NewGamecockMom's D's timeline suggests, so you might want to jump on the early application dates.

Does anyone know if McKissik is available to sophomores and if so, do they have to complete and application for it? Are there other scholarships like the Dean's Scholarship, University Scholars etc for sophomores? Do they have to fill out a special application?
