Accepted 2010 Freshman
My sister received today her notification of admission to USF for fall 2010. She applied about two weeks ago. Anyone else hear anything?

I'm still waiting. Put the Fee in 10th of last month, they just got scores last friday, waiting on decision!

I just checked today and I got accepted! I have a 3.5 gpa and got an 1120/1600 on the SATS. I applied maybe 2 weeks ago.

gabriels, Congrats!

JT and PachB, you will probably hear real soon.

JT, did you figure out how many "points" you got for "success predictors" used in the USF admission matrix-grid (linked below.) With a 23 ACT and a USF 4.00 GPA and at least 2 points you should be all set. I know my sister had 6 out of the 7 predictors listed in the purple box on the left side of the matrix (she didn't have the additional foreign language one.) and was pretty much guaranteed acceptance per the matrix thingee (if it is valid.) Good luck!

Yes I just retook the sat today. (They already have scores to judge, though)
I have a 3.4 gpa and 3 success factors. my new sat score fo sure will be in their range.

how long does it take to usually get a reply back from usf cause i kno ucf it was 3 weeks.

USF took 3 to 4 weeks. They must be cranking on their aps. Everyone I know who applied has gotten in. Most submitted the beginning of September. Heard 1st week of October.

JT, Double check the online USF Oasis status of your application--make sure USF has received all your stuff. Better yet, maybe give them a phone call to check on app.

i have and it says they have all my friends are getting their letters in the mail so i am wondering if they do not even post the descions online?

They received my transcript the 14th, I login today and see that I was accepted.. wow

GPA UW 3.9
rank 1/129

Do they send scholarship info in the mail?
